Cable Modem Configuration Pages

The Surfboard modem has a 'Configuration Manager' and can be accessed by typing your cable modems IP address ( http://192.168.100.1 ). Some older models of the Surfboard may not offer this feature.

Info and screenshots:

Status - Shows the tasks the modem has carried out during boot-up
Signal - Shows information about upstream and downstream signals and other signal info
Addresses - Shows what IP or MAC addresses devices have got
Configuration - You can change and see what data frequency you are locked on
Logs - This page shows a list of events the modem has performed

Logs:

The logs list any eveent the cable modem has performed. The logs are listed in chronological order. They are given in the format YY MM DD HH MM SS, for example 020616163355 would be 2002, June, 16th, 4:33pm, 55 secs
