Network Card

The network card plays a very important role of connecting your cable modem and your computer together. Sometimes they are called a 'NIC' (Network Interface Card).

The network card allows data to be transferred from your computer to another computer or device, it uses cable similar to telephone cable called cat5 or cat5e (cat5e allows data to be carried along a greater distance), they also use a similar jack and end that a telephone cable does.
